Valentines Day is just around the corner and love is in the air. Visit CMOST and participate in one of our "lovely" activities. Heart Science
Spread the love of discovery and adventure using real cows' heart. Hands-on activities will build on children's natural enthusiasm and teach the circulatory system, how the heart works, and its size and location in the body. They will listen to their own hearts and hear the changes made by activity, and investigate the difference between veins and arteries in their own bodies. Heart science will go way beyond little red cutout hearts by learning what a real heart looks like. Ages 5+. Pre-registration is required. Free for CMOST Members, $2.00 for Non-Members

LCROSS Mission to the Moon!
LCROSS stands for the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite and is one of the latest NASA missions to study the moon! LCROSS's main goal was to confirm whether or not there is water on the moon. We'll take a closer look at this mission and its findings asking questions like where should we look for water, and why it would be important to us to find water on the moon. We'll explore LCROSS in a dynamic manner by cooking up comets and testing out how craters were created on the moon. Ages 5+. Pre-registration is required. Free for CMOST Members, $2.00 for Non-Members.

Join CMOST as we explore some of the elements of the periodic table. In this hands-on workshop we'll learn all about Carbon. Belt Loop Program
Join CMOST in this exploration of nature! Webelos scouts will learn about naturals resources and natural resource conservation through meeting animals in our Operation W.I.L.D. exhibit.
