Birthday Parties



Birthday Party Rates:
$205 for CMOST members
$240 for non-CMOST members

  • Party rates are based on 16 children. There is a charge of $8.50 for each additional child.
  • We require a non-refundable $100 party deposit. Deposits are due at time of booking.
  • Goody Boxes are also available at additional cost of $4.50 each.
  • CMOST logo Balloons are available for $1.00 each.
  • The Junior Science Lab is available to CMOST members only for a $25.00 additional room rental charge.
  • Please place your request for a birthday party at least 2 weeks in advance. Please call to check date availability.
  • Bookings are made as dates become available on a first-come first served basis.

Celebrate your child’s birthday at CMOST!
Birthday parties at The Children’s Museum of Science and Technology bring a unique educational twist to your birthday party.

All Parties Include:

  • Private use of birthday party room for 2-1/2 hours for 16+ children
  • Food package for 16 party guests. Choose from cheese pizza, macaroni & cheese, cheeseburgers, chicken tenders and a choice of juice or soda.
    Also includes party paper goods
  • A 30 minute CMOST Educator led program
  • Private Dome Show in the Lally Digital Dome
    and Planetarium
  • Museum Self-tour
  • Day long admission to CMOST for all party guests
  • A souvenir t-shirt and CMOST logo balloon for the birthday child
  • A small gift for each party guest
  • Passes for all attendees to visit CMOST again ($80)

Birthday parties are offered Friday through Sunday. Party times are at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Other days and times may be arranged if circumstances allow. We recommend that you book your party as early as possible to ensure you get the date and time that best suits your needs.

CMOST provides tablecloths, place settings, a souvenir t-shirt and balloon for the birthday child, a small gift for each attendant, and your party's food and drink.

We request that parents/chaperones manage their group’s behavior at all times. Parents and chaperones are also responsible for the birthday party clean up. No food, drinks, or balloons are allowed out of the birthday party rooms.
