Nano Camp
What is nanotechnology and what makes it so interesting? Join CMOST in this camp for all things nano. This camp is an introduction to nanotechnology and an exploration of all of the things that it might be able to do in your future! Campers will be immersed in the world of nanotechnology as they experiment with nano concepts. Campers will meet professionals from the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) who will share their knowledge. They will also have the opportunity to visit CNSE and explore everything nano from the gowning up process to the work that happens in the clean rooms. (Portions of this camp will be hosted at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering in Albany, NY. One full day of Nano camp will be held at CNSE. Parents must drop off and pick up campers at the college in Albany on that day.)

Solar Science & Sprint Cars
Join CMOST in an exploration of all things solar! Campers will be immersed in the world of solar energy. We will learn all about solar energy and how it works and then put our new knowledge to the test by building a solar cell using blackberry juice, creating a solar cooker and then the ultimate challenge of developing, designing and deploying a solar sprint car. On the last day of camp we will hold solar sprint car competitions here at CMOST!

GIST - Girls in Science and Technology Tween Camps
The Girls in Science and Technology camps are for ladies only and are designed to engage young women in hands-on scientific exploration in a nurturing environment. Curriculum for the GIST programs are developed and taught by CMOST educators and visiting scientists.
